Phase 2 Weight Loss Challenge

Are you ready to accelerate your weight loss efforts and star shedding those unwanted pounds?


Day 8 kicks off Phase 2 of the TLS 21 Day Challenge, a more intensive 2-week phase designed to target stubborn fat. You will switch gears from gentle stretching to more vigorous workouts and make some modifications to daily serving sizes.

Phase 2 - Additions & Changes


SUPPLEMENTATION:

   - 2 TLS Nutrition Shakes per day

   - TLS CORE

VEGETABLES:

   - 8-12 servings per day

FRUITS:

   - 1 serving per day

PROTEIN:

   - 3-4 servings per day

GOOD FATS:

   - 2 servings per day

WATER:

   - Minimum of 8 cups per day

EXERCISE:

   - 5-6 days per week

Nutrition Shakes

The TLS Nutrition Shakes are recommended as a snack; however, they can be used as a meal replacement when you find time or options are limited.

Exercise

If you are unsure how much exercise is enough, the American Heart Association recommends the following:

     At least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity at least 5 days per week, OR

     At least 25 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity at least 3 days per week for a total of

     75 minutes; or a combination of moderate- and vigorous-intensity aerobic activity. **

NOTE: It is important that you continue to exclude the following from your diet during Phase 2 (even high-quality dairy and grain products can slow weight loss efforts and cause bloating):

- Alcohol

- Grains or starches

- Dairy

During Phase 2 of the TLS 21-Day Challenge, the intensity of exercise and activity is increased to target stubborn fat and promote weight loss. But did you know that exercise can increase the frequency of positive events and social interactions as well? According to a recent study in the Journal of Personality and Individual Differences, “increasing physical exercise and the occurrence of positive events is central to well-being promotion… behavioral activation theory suggests the occurrence of one positive event increases the likelihood of engaging in subsequent positive events.”
